affenpinschers, originally bred to hunt small rodents, have a fearless "big-dog-in-a-little-body" attitude. they are mischeivious, but take themselves quite seriously. they are known to stand up on their hind legs for funsies. relatively rare dogs, affies are often compared to little monkeys. they particularly dislike being squeezed and held. in france, they are known as the "Diablotin Moustachu", or the Mustachioed Little Devil.
