dachshund

dachshunds are often said to be two dogs long and half a dog high. they are extremely affectionate, playful, and absolutely adore a good snuggle. they were bred to hunt badgers, so they love to dig and sniff everywhere to try and find them. dachshunds are known to be very stubborn, but eager to please. they are very barky and will alert at anything. be careful to keep them a healthy weight, as putting too much burden on their tiny little legs can injure their joints.
