rottweilers are VERY affectionate towards family. they are very active and need to have a job to do, so they are often used as police dogs. they are also very territorial and protective of their things. they are very trainable and live to please! rotties are pretty large dogs, but no one told them that, so they'll probably sit on you. they love to make a rumbling sound, because rotties are very playful and confident.
